Crafts need a purpose!

I love crafts! And although I do enjoy the occassional paper plate animal with my daughter I prefer crafts with a purpose! How about hairbows? Can't get enough of those! Artwork that you can actually hang on your wall. Jewelry, clothing, gifts..you get the point. I have created this blog so that I may share with you the crafts that I know, as well as hear what crafts you may know that HAVE A PURPOSE for goodness sakes! Ok ok...and the occassional paper plate animal :)
Ok and I'm also in Cosmetology School so I'm a sucker for style, hair and makeup tips/trends so we will definitely see some of that on here too :D

First Blog!!!

Yay! First blog!!  I think what I'd like to start with is this awesome wall art craft I found here: http://www.craftjr.com/easy-wall-art/   This is a great example of a "craft with a purpose"!  If you guys try this...as I am going to...post some pics so we can see how they turn out!!
